Tuesday night, Oxford Street saw the return of the 6th Vogue Fashion Night Out. But what is the VFNO you might say? Originally it is “an unprecedented global initiative created in 2009 to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, boost the industry’s economy during the recession, and put the fun back in shopping!” (Vogue).
Just after London Fashion Week, during a few hours one evening, a great number of shops in Mayfair and around Oxford Street offer exclusive discounts/gifts/goodie bags. The atmosphere is fun, filled with fashion, bloggers and so many people dressed beautifully! You can find free food, free cocktails and free treats (hello Polo Ralph Lauren beanie! YES it is yellow, but bright neon colors are trending this season), as well as special events/parties such Jameela Jamil being the DJ at House of Fraser. But there are also many beauty pop-ups, collection launches and manicures (that you pay for).
This event is a great opportunity to do a bit of shopping and to find inspiration among all those nice people, brands, parties and it is awesome in general! I had a great night with lovely people and I can’t wait for next year’s VFNO!
PS: Thank you Chloe, Laure and Lena! ♥︎
